Kokushikai Judo Academy of Fair Lawn, New Jersey is a traditional judo dojo (school). 3x Olympian, Celita Schutz and Sensei Matsumura, graduate of Japan's Kokushikan University conduct each class. Every class contains individual attention to technique, group instruction and time for individuals to test themselves in newaza (ground grappling) and tachi-waza (standing). Class etiquette, safety and appreciation for others is emphasized. Ages from age 8 years and up of all levels are welcome to apply for the Youth and/or Adult classes depending on experience. Ages 5-7 may apply for the Children's classes.

Kokushikai Judo Academy is a traditionally run dojo located in northern New Jersey. Judo is not only a martial art and self defense it is also an Olympic sport. Judo classes are taught by 3x Olympian, Celita Schutz and Olympic Coach, Sensei Matsumura. Celita began judo at Kokushi Dojo with N. Ogasawara. While at Kokushi Dojo, Celita accumulated various National and International Championships while being ranked No. #1 on the US Judo Senior Elite ranking system for 7 consecutive years. Kokushi kai Judo Academy is centrally located in Fair Lawn, New Jersey near the Garden State Parkway, Route 4, Route 208, Route 17, Route 46 and Route 80. Kokushi kai Judo Academy is a member of US Judo, United States Judo Federation and United States Judo Association.
